Made for a
broader conversation.
12 Axes is an independent, free political self-reflection tool. It begins with a simple idea: a single left-to-right line can leave a lot of your worldview out.
Explore without the label
We ask about twelve subjects, from economic priorities to the pace of technological change. You receive separate scores, plain-language explanations, and space to think about why your views may differ between topics.
There is no correct profile. We don’t match you to a political party or public figure, and we don’t treat any pole as a better answer. This project is educational and has not been scientifically validated.
Free means the whole experience
Both versions, your complete results, image downloads, and share links are available without payment or registration. There are no ads or analytics scripts. Individual answers and your most recent result stay in your browser until you clear them.
An independent interpretation
Our questions and code were written for this project. Other multi-axis tests helped inspire the format, but this website has its own dimensions and methodology. It is not affiliated with the original 12axes project, 12axes.net, 12axes.vercel.app, or any political organization.
Design & illustrations
Illustrative result cards use public-domain historical portraits, not measured profiles of the people pictured. View image sources and public-domain credits. Sora and Poppins are self-hosted fonts under the SIL Open Font License; font credits and licenses.
Contact & feedback
This website is maintained through the atsince/12axes project on GitHub. To report a problem, suggest an improvement, or contact the maintainer about privacy, open a project issue. GitHub may require an account to post; using this test never does.
Project issues are public. Please do not post your political answers, private links, personal information, or other sensitive material. If your concern involves local test data, you can remove it immediately using “Clear my local data” in the footer.
